Whether you're looking to celebrate in downtown or on the west side of Knoxville, we have a variety of spaces to choose from. Our 5 Avenue location features our Warehouse with a direct view of our brewing tanks, as well as our Passenger space located just off of our extended patio. If privacy is a priority, our Central venue could be the perfect standalone choice. Looking for a place outside of the downtown area? We have the Media Room at our Hardin Valley location.

The Media Room
If you are looking for a venue on the west side of town, we have you covered at our Hardin Valley location. Our space comes with room for up to 50 guests, a television projector, unlimited Spotify access, and a comfortable seating area, as well as individual or group tab options.

Passenger
This space comes equipped with a sound system with unlimited Spotify access, a private draft system with up to 6 Xul options, full bar area with seating for up to 60 guests, private bathrooms, a stage, patio access, and individual or group tab options. This space offers high top table and bar top seating at our 5th Avenue location.

The Warehouse
Looking for a space for a larger group? Our Warehouse event space can accommodate up to 100 guests for a cocktail style event and is equipped with German-style beer tables, benches, a sound system with unlimited Spotify access, 70-inch televisions, and dimmable lighting. We also offer a private draft system that includes up to 6 Xul options, as well as individual or group tab options, at our 5th Avenue location.

Warehouse Table Rental
Not wanting a private venue, but still want a spot to celebrate? We offer individual table rentals at our 5th Avenue location, exclusively in our Warehouse space.

Central Street Production
Our newly acquired space can accommodate up to 70 guests. Xul Central will maintain a draft system with a variety of 6 Xul options (choices depending on availability at the time of the event), standard seating and bar top accommodations, private parking and restrooms, an updated sound system with unlimited Spotify access, and individual or group tab options.

What's included in a rental fee?
Tables & Chairs
All of our rentals include tables and chairs that coordinate with the specific needs of each space. Although both are located at our 5 Ave location, Passenger comes with tall tables and bar stools while the Warehouse uses German beer tables and benches. Our Central location is equipped with both high top and standard seating, while the Media Room at Hardin Valley has a variety of options.
Event Host
At Xul, we’re all about making every experience the best it can be, and that includes your event. Whether it’s bartending, serving, helping coordinate activities, setting up or breaking down, an Event Host will be there to help you every step of the way. Each party booked at any of our 3 locations requires at least one host for the duration of your event. Additional hosts can be added as needed dependent upon the size of your celebration ($100 fee per host). All bar tabs are subject to a 22% gratuity charge, which go directly to the event host.
Sound System
Music is a big part of Xul and you can create your own vibe while in one of our private spaces. Each area has access to Sonos and Spotify unlimited. Listen to your favorite station, put together a customized playlist, or highlight a specific genre with the music you choose.
Screen Access
All spaces have TV’s varying in size, which you are more than welcome to use for your event. From football games to work presentations, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
If you are renting one of our private spaces, you may decorate as much as you’d like! We do ask that no damage be done to the walls or furnishings, and that confetti be kept to a minimum as much as possible.
We have 60″ round tables with linens (black, ivory, & gold), 8 ft. rectangular tables with linens (black & ivory), and black banquet chairs available for a fee.
Xul provides all necessities for the beverages that we serve. We do not have ice, utensils, or any other food service items.
After confirming that your date is available, we require a non-refundable $300 deposit (rental fee) to hold your date. We will schedule a time to take this over the phone or in person, whichever works best for you.
We ask that our events end 1 hour before closing time, which is 10 PM on Monday through Thursday, 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 8 PM on Sunday.
The rental gives you 6 hours of time in the space, which includes 1 hour to set up, 1 hour to clean up, and 4 hours of event time.
Yes, we will card all guests that are partaking in alcohol consumption and will not serve those without a valid ID. We do not accept a picture of an ID. If a guest of your event is drinking while underage or without a valid form of identification, they will be escorted out of the venue. If this happens more than once, your host will end the event and all tabs will be closed out with a 22% gratuity added.
No. Our draft is priced by the glass as it is in our taprooms and can be purchased by your guests (21 & up) on individual tabs, by the host on one tab, or with a drink ticket system.
You are more than welcome to bring in any non-alcoholic beverages and whatever food you’d like. Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted for consumption on the premises unless served by Xul, which includes our to-go beer.
All Xul products purchased will go towards your minimum spend, including draft beer, to-go beer, and merch. The rental fee, gratuity, and gift cards purchased during the event do not qualify. If you don’t hit the minimum spend requirement stated for your event, you will have the option to purchase merch and to-go beer or be charged the remaining balance.
Draft options are based on availability and a list will be provided a week from the time of your event. Please keep in mind that none of our beers are guaranteed.
