Enjoy The Buzz
Our taproom was built in the 1960s as an auto showroom for Volkswagen so it features a 180-degree glass facade that allows our guests to enjoy the downtown skyline and watch the cars buzz by. We wanted to stay true to the original design so you’ll see mid-century modern decor throughout. Plush couches, textured walls and quartz countertops help accentuate the eclectic vibe. During the day, the taproom is flooded with natural light, but at night, it takes on a completely different vibe of city lights and sexy ambiance.

Pale Ale - American
Brewed with Citra & Cascade then subtle dry-hop additions of Simcoe, Citra, Cascade & Amarillo.
Merriwater, named after the neighborhood that Alex grew up in, pours orange with a slight haze & nice white lacing. On the nose, you might gather aromas of stone fruit, candied oranges & even peaches. The first sip will introduce you to notes of citrus & tropical fruits followed by hints of grapefruit peel, passion fruit & pine/resin. There is a hint of slight malt sweetness from a small portion of honey malt. Medium-bodied with a soft bitterness. This was the second ever Passenger beer and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Not your typical "Jelly of the Month Club" beer. Dark roasted malt and bittersweet cocoa and coffee flavor and aroma burst from this pitch black milk stout. The full body and sweetness are derived from the addition of lactose (aka milk sugar) which is not fermentable by beer yeast. A healthy dose of English Kent Goldings hops provides a counterpoint to this ale’s rich and complex maltiness.

Wheat Beer - Hefeweizen
Welcome to Wilbourne. A traditional German-style Hefeweizen that pours a hazy, golden straw color with a thick, creamy white head. The aroma is a blend of banana, clove & bubblegum, with hints of freshly baked bread & subtle floral notes. It has a medium body with a dry finish. Flavors of sweet fruity esters, spicy phenolics from the Hefe yeast, and honey/bread notes from the wheat malt. The finish is clean & refreshing with the tiniest amount of hop bitterness to balance it all out. Perfect for these hot summer days.
This Hefe was named after a street that Quentin grew up on. This bright beer style reminded him of summers in rural west TN.
